For us being a good parent, means keeping our child as happy as he/she can possibly be, being able to instill in them a strong sense of morality, honesty, and a sense of being overwhelmingly loved. While doing this we must maintain a balance between our parenting and allowing them to develop into their own individual personality. We can’t wait to do things together as a family!

Katy has lots of experience with children. She has patience, compassion and an affection for children that can’t be taught. It just comes out of her in a way that even draw comments from onlookers. If you are at a get-together and your child leaves your side, look for Katy because that’s where they will be. She was meant to be a mom.

Eric is always up for playing with his nieces. It is so wonderful to see him interact with them. He often offers to go over to their home just to play with them on his own time. He has lots of patience when it comes to teaching them different games and is always teaching them more about their computer. Eric is also very close with his uncle’s son and can often be seen at family gatherings being bugged by the kids to join in games, etc. He always has a hard time saying no. Eric has a gentle, honest and loving way about him that you can’t help being drawn to. Everybody loves Uncle Ric! Eric also enjoys volunteering his time at the different stables he works at. He is always happy to give the horse camp kids a demo on horse shoeing and makes a gift shoe for each kid to take home as a keepsake. They all love it!

We love our animals. Our love and compassion for our four-legged friends led us both to our career paths. We both find our jobs working in the animal related field, rewarding as well as enjoyable.

When we go anywhere with our dogs or our horses, we are destined to stop and talk to so many people that just want to pet them and ask about them. Our pets have been a great method of meeting many new friends and neighbors. Our dogs and our horses ensure that we get outside frequently for lots of exercise. Both our doggies are great with kids. As a matter of fact, everyone calls our pups the “kid magnets”. Children seem to gravitate to our dogs when we are out and about. They love to play with them. The dogs love it too. It is so wonderful to see them interact. Our pets most definitely have enriched our lives. We all love them all so much!!! We enjoy taking our pets so many places...yes, they are spoiled!!!
