What happens to me?
You are probably still feeling pretty good and active in this second trimester. If you are still having aches and pains, or feel like you are slowing down, you may want to look into some different remedies. Your breasts have probably enlarged during pregnancy, and this can be uncomfortable, especially if they are also sore and tender. At this point, a supportive bra may help make you more comfortable.
The third trimester is just around the corner, and with it comes some mild discomfort from carrying a baby that is nearly full-term. How much will I be showing?
Your uterus is approximately ¾ of an inch from your belly button and you will have definitely lost your waistline and be showing by this point. What happens to baby?
This week the baby has developed eyebrows, and its hair is thicker and has color. The eyebrows and eyelids are fully developed, and the fingernails cover the fingertips. The baby can now hear your conversations. If you talk, read, or sing, expect the baby to hear you. How big is the baby?
The baby now weighs about ¾ of a pound (12 ounces) and is approximately 7 1/2 inches long. Tip of the Week
Even with supplemental iron, some women still develop iron-deficiency anemia. Your doctor can help with this condition. Want to figure out your due date? Click Here
